Stylists are as the old saying goes, “A dime a dozen”. Most anyone can curate a great wardrobe walking through Luxury designer shops picking up beautiful pieces. Some can mix and match those impeccable pieces to create looks that work together. There are only a remarkably select few that are able to transcend the shopping, work with the person, and curate not a closet but a lifestyle.
This is where the stylist and lifestyle coach Lori Dobrin comes in to play. Lori is not only the fashion stylist for the cover story of this issue of TLN magazine. Lori is so much more. Though Lori is, of course, no stranger to the glamorous world of high fashion has become one of the top fashion stylists working internationally from runways to exotic photo-shoots as well as being one of the top stylists for the designer Roberto Cavalli , purveyor of high fashion. Lori, however, was the obvious choice for this production not for those qualities alone. It is not just her enviable connections to all of the major luxury brands. It is not just her resumé of celebrity clients. It is not just her ability to delve into the psyche of the project or person given her background in forensic psychology. Lori was the perfect choice because she combines all of these along with her multicultural insights from successfully working with clients from all around the globe. This invaluable understanding of what it takes to run a successful business and life led Lori to found her own business.
Arrange Moi is a business focused on providing one on one coaching and helpful video courses. A company founded by Lori in order to help others create the style that creates the lifestyle. Understanding not only the latest trends, but with her fifteen years of experience in the luxury sector, she has knowledge of what endures. Creating a style and a lifestyle that is tailor-made for each client to bring out the confidence that shines on any occasion. A lifestyle of luxury for even the most discerning of individuals is precisely the reason Lori founded Arrange Moi.
Through this highly personalized approach, Lori creates an organic journey for her clients to release their confidence inside and out. Lori, in her own words perhaps says it best, “Some clients only need help to define their outward style in order to shine with confidence in any situation. Other’s need to discover themselves first to be able to find the style that will bring about their best self. I am here to help the process through any range of cases, through all means at our disposal.” Style is a hard thing to define. Creating or accentuating the luxury life- style both in the way you adorn your- self and the way you feel, is an even more daunting task. Lori Dobrin’s authentic approach makes it easy.
Here is what Shanyan had to say about her experience working with Lori on the December issue.
“Lori was a dream stylist for my Cover Shoot. I was residing in the Bahamas at the time of the shoot and TLN Magazine wanted to shoot me on location, in the Bahamas. Given the upcoming launch of TLN Academy’s Luxury Master class e-learning platform, in which I had the pleasure to be a guest-star as TLN’s Art Ambassador, the Head Once of TLN fast-tracked my Cover Feature to the November issue. It was already the end of August, and with Covid travel restrictions, the timing was of the essence. In the end, the entire magazine shoot, including all the logistics involved with flying the entire team during COVID to the Bahamas, was put together in one week. Lori was brought onto the team with less than one week’s notice to pull together 10+ looks for the Cover Shoot. Thankfully she “got” me from the first moment we spoke with each other. My personal style is very feminine and delicate, but given I am also an entrepreneur in the art world, and shooting in the Bahamas, she managed to pull an incredible wardrobe combining a sense of femininity, a sense of boss, and a sense of the tropics in each of the looks. Lori is honest, direct, and opinionated, and that is what I loved about working with her. She had a vision for each look, from hair, make-up, to the location and pose for each shot. And some of the Roberto Cavalli dresses I got to wear for the shoot were a dream for any girl”.
