Joining an iconic line up of 12, 15 and 18 Year Old whiskies – each intriguing and distinctive with a unique character – this delicious offering from Glenfiddich’s Flagship series delivers the smooth sophistication of Scotland along with the sweet kick of American bourbon.
Beloved in the US, the Bourbon Barrel Reserve 14 Year Old is Glenfiddich’s first whisky matured in two types of American oak barrel. The ex-bourbon casks are the bedrock, giving a delicious richness and sweetness as our Malt Master, Brian Kinsman, waits 14 years for the whisky to mature. He then shakes it awake in deep-charred new oak barrels for a vivid and vibrant punch of vanilla, adding extra layers of richness and complexity.

TASTING NOTES

Nose:
Deep vibrant vanilla notes with hints of citrus, caramelised brown sugar and cinnamon. Baked apple and ripe summer fruits and balanced with the rich oaky aromas.
Taste:
Beautifully rich and sweet with layers of creamy toffee, woody spices, candied orange peel and fresh toasted oak.
Finish:
Long lasting with lingering sweetness.
