- Brand Heritage and Philosophy
Atyab Al Marshoud, established in 1925 by Sulaiman Al Marshoud, is a distinguished multi-generational family business. Sulaiman was the pioneer in introducing Pure oil and Bakhoor to the region. The subsequent generations have continued to uphold the legacy within the fragrance industry. The brand’s philosophy centers on delivering the highest quality products at affordable prices while maximizing the diversity of product categories within the beauty industry.
- What is the story behind the successful Lily Musk Perfume?
Lily Musk was one of the projects we had in mind, focusing on a unique scented body powder that stands out from anything currently available in the market. Due to the high acceptance of the fragrance, we decided to expand the line by launching a body oil and continuing the collection with a perfume. This results in a complete set that our customers truly love.
- Expansion and Global Reach
Twelve years ago, we made the decision to manufacture in France, believing that the highest quality fragrances are produced there. We recognized that to reach the global market, we needed to manufacture in one of the best locations in the world. Since then, we’ve expanded our operations into 24 different countries within the Gulf region, establishing 500 points of sale. We currently have a presence in Europe and across the USA, and we are focused on finding the right distributors in each territory to expand beautifully with them using the same successful strategy. We’re aiming to expand further into America , Africa and Asia, with plans set 2025 & 2026.
- The Essence of Atyab Al Marshoud
The essence of Atyab Al Marshoud is centered around quality, sustainability, and innovation.
- Personal Choice
I’m a big fan of the all-over spray collection too! I think the innovation we brought to the market with a water-based perfume that’s strong enough to be used on both the body and clothes is a unique approach. That’s why it’s my top choice, plus it’s selling beautifully worldwide!
- Craftsmanship and Quality
We tend to partner with major oil companies, and we also have an in-house perfumer, which allows for ongoing communication between two perfumers who work together to create beautiful, unique, and differentiated products in the market. The largest investment we consistently make is in the oil itself, as it represents the highest cost when developing a fragrance or any other concept. We prioritize investing significantly in the raw materials and oils we select.
- Celebrating Customer Loyalty
I believe that Atyab Al Marshoud Co. is more than just a retail brand that sells perfumes. We strive to stay close to our customers by creating what they desire. We see our customers as part of our R&D department, which stands for Research & Development. Our goal is not just to sell but also to share memories, such as celebrating national days. Additionally, we are a company that has always sought to be linked with Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), engaging in various social initiatives that contribute positively to society in one way or another.
- Challenges
One of the main challenges we face in our expansion is logistics and supply chain management. It’s crucial to fulfill the diverse needs of various markets across different territories while effectively controlling production on their behalf. Therefore, improving logistics and supply demand is essential to meet the requirements of different regions.
- Looking Ahead
We have a pipeline of projects ready for next year, and we’ll be launching a new category that represents a completely different innovation in the market. I’m looking forward to it and hope it meets our standards and achieves high customer satisfaction.
- Final Thoughts
Customers are, at the end of the day, the key to any brand’s success. They not only make purchases but also help us brainstorm ideas to move forward and succeed. The beauty of retail lies in our connection with them. We recognize that customers are the core of any business, and we must shift and adapt to their needs while consistently bringing something new to the table to meet their standards.
