Irina Kush: Bringing the World’s Largest Citizenship by Investment Provider to the Middle East

    February 9, 20255 Mins Read

Irina Kush’s journey began in Chisinau, Moldova, where she was raised in a family with Russian roots. With a thirst for knowledge and a drive for success, she earned her Bachelor’s degree from Moscow State University (MSU). Later, she ventured to the United States to complete a Master’s degree in Marketing and Communication at the University of California, San Diego. Not one to stop there, Irina went on to earn a Ph.D. in the History of the Middle East, showcasing her passion for learning and her interest in diverse cultures.

Fluent in Russian, Arabic, Turkish, and English, Irina has made a name for herself as a global professional. Her career spans senior management roles in Retail, Manufacturing, and Private Investments across multiple countries. She’s also an accomplished entrepreneur, with successful ventures in Turkey, the UAE, and Russia.

In 2006, Irina moved to Dubai, where she immersed herself in Investment and Real Estate. By 2014, she found her calling in the Citizenship by Investment (CBI) and Company Incorporation industries. Since then, she has been helping clients from diverse backgrounds—including Russians, Lebanese, Iranians, Syrians, Americans, and Indians—achieve their dreams of global mobility and financial security.

    Q&A with Irina Kush

    1.     What was your first job in your current industry?

In 2014, I took a leap of faith and founded a startup in the Citizenship by Investment industry. It was an exciting and challenging start to a journey that has turned out to be incredibly rewarding.

    2.     Why did you choose to work in this industry?

I’ve always been passionate about helping people create opportunities and secure brighter futures for themselves and their families. This industry allows me to combine that passion with my expertise in business, investments, and real estate. It’s deeply fulfilling to know that my work can have such a life-changing impact on others.

    3.     What do you like about your job?

What I love most is the personal connections I build with clients. Every client has a unique story, and being part of their journey toward achieving life-changing goals is incredibly rewarding. It’s a constant reminder of why I love what I do.

    4.     How would you describe your career in three words?

    Helpful, Pleasure, Satisfaction.

    5.     What are some accomplishments you’ve achieved during your career?

    – Expanding my businesses in Turkey, the UAE, and Russia.
    – Building trusted relationships with clients from all over the world.
    – Partnering with Henry Fan to establish Globevisa’s MENA office in May 2023, a milestone that has enhanced our regional presence.

    6.     What professional accomplishment are you most proud of?

Helping hundreds of families obtain second citizenships and open doors to new opportunities is something I take immense pride in. It’s not just about providing a service—it’s about transforming lives.

    7.     What makes you unique in your profession?

I bring a personal touch to everything I do. My ability to connect with clients, my multilingual skills, and my in-depth knowledge across various industries enable me to provide tailored solutions that truly meet their needs.

    8.     What is your favorite thing about your career or industry?

The international aspect of this industry is amazing. I get to work with people from so many different cultures and backgrounds, which keeps things exciting and inspiring.

    9.     What is a valuable lesson you’ve learned in your career?

Honesty, dedication, and discipline are the foundation of success. These values have guided me through every challenge and opportunity in my career.

    10.  What do you hope to accomplish in your career?

I want to continue growing my influence in the CBI and company incorporation industries, helping even more families achieve their dreams while setting new standards for excellence.

    11.  What effect do you want to have on your industry with your work?

I want to raise the bar for transparency and quality in this field. My goal is to ensure clients always feel confident and supported throughout their journey.

    12.  What are the best skills you bring to your career?

I’d say my multilingual ability, strategic thinking, and knack for building meaningful relationships are some of my strongest assets.

    13.  What do you think is the key to success?

Honesty, dedication, and discipline. These principles have always been my compass, and they’ve helped me build a career that I’m truly proud of.

    14.  What do you enjoy most about your industry?

The fact that I get to make a real difference in people’s lives. It’s incredibly rewarding to see the joy and relief on a client’s face when their goals are finally achieved.

    15.  What is your favorite memories from your career so far?

I’ve had so many memorable moments, but a few stand out. One time, a client gave me an expensive designer bag as a thank-you gift after she and her family obtained citizenship. It was such a heartfelt gesture that I’ll always treasure.

Another special memory was with a Lebanese client who had been struggling with visa rejections for years. She couldn’t visit her brother in Germany, and they hadn’t been able to gather as a family. After she received her second passport, they finally reunited this past Christmas. Seeing the joy and gratitude in her eyes was incredibly moving.

And, of course, I’ll never forget the partnership I formed with Henry Fan in May 2023. Establishing Globevisa’s MENA office was a major milestone in my career and an exciting step forward for our team.
