10 Reasons to go Heli-Skiing with Last Frontier

    March 14, 20171 Min Read
    1. It’s near Alaska. Cooler temps and a deep snow-pack allow us to ski late into the season.
    2. Bluebird days. April has the most sunshine of any heli-ski month.
    3. Stability. April generally allows us to ski more aggressive lines. It’s when the Pro skiers visit us.
    4. Long days…like really long. Some days we can ski until 6pm…. If your legs can take it.
    5. Still plenty of POW. On average, 52cm of fresh snow per week in April. We even have a run called April Powder.
    6. Alpine lunches under the sun. Maybe you’ll even get to try a backcountry BBQ.
    7. Work on that goggle tan.
    8. Big vertical. On a bluebird week, expect long days and long runs.
    9. Heli-ski in shorts… or less…
    10. Glacier beers. Cold beer tastes better in the spring.

If you’re still looking for the ultimate spring ski trip, April Heli-Skiing should be on your list. Get in touch about availability
